What does the monthly service cover?
Everything a Portuguese company has to file during the year:
- bookkeeping and digital archiving of every document;
- periodic IVA returns (Portuguese VAT), monthly or quarterly depending on your regime;
- IRC calculation and payments on account (Portuguese corporate income tax);
- year-end accounts, Modelo 22 and the IES (the annual statutory filing);
- Segurança Social obligations;
- permanent access to your books through Toconline.

Do I have to come to Braga?
No. Most of our clients have never visited: documents are exchanged digitally, meetings happen by video call and signatures are electronic. You are welcome at the office in the historic centre of Braga if you prefer to meet in person.
What if I already have an accountant in Portugal?
You can switch at any time. EA Contabilidade handles the handover with your previous accountant and the transfer of your records.
