How long does it take?
Using Empresa na Hora (Portugal’s same-day incorporation procedure) with a pre-approved company name, the company can be incorporated the same day. If a Certificado de Admissibilidade is needed from the RNPC, the timing depends on that body.
Deadlines that depend on public bodies are never guaranteed.
What is the minimum share capital?
Legally, €1 per shareholder in an LDA (the Portuguese private limited company). In practice we advise setting capital that matches your real cash needs and the credibility banks and suppliers expect.
What EA handles after incorporation

- Segurança Social registration and the NISS;
